Welcome 2018!

Hello and welcome to my classroom website/blog. I am very excited to be your child's classroom teacher! We are going to have so much fun learning and growing together this year. I’ve had a wonderful summer with my family. I feel refreshed and ready to begin a new school year with you and your child. Here are a few pictures of my family from this summer. I spent a lot of time at the pool with my daughters, vacationed in Rhode Island, visited the Cape, and took lots of day-trips! I feel refreshed and ready to begin the new school year. 

My hope is to post updates to my BLOG every other week letting you know what is happening in the classroom.  I also like to share websites, games, and links with you throughout the year that you might find helpful exploring at home with your child. I will send an email letting you know when I have made a new post once I have created our class email mailing list. 

Our first day of school will be on Tuesday, August 28th.  Second graders will meet their teachers in the gym.  We will spend the first few days of school getting to know one another, exploring our classroom, and discussing expectations and routines.
