Snack and Lunch
Second
grade students will be having lunch at 1:10. Therefore, we will be having our snack in the mornings. This is a late lunch so it might be best to send a couple items for snack. I encourage students to bring a nutritious snack to school each day. Due to school policy, please check
ingredients to make sure that they don’t contain nuts.
The snack milk program has been eliminated this year, therefore you may want to send a drink with your child's snack. I also encourage students to keep a water bottle at their seats throughout the day. This ensures that they drink more water and avoids lines at the water fountain. Thanks for your help!

Lunch
tickets may be purchased for cafeteria lunches. Also, if your child forgets
his/her lunch or money, don’t worry! Lunch will be provided and a notice will
be sent home letting you know your child has borrowed money.
Dismissal Procedures
If your
child has any change in his/her dismissal arrangements, please be sure to
notify us in writing. Please note that dismissal changes should not be sent via e-mail. There are times
that the Internet is down or that I don’t have time to check it throughout the
day. Students must follow their regular dismissal procedure unless a note is
received from a parent or a phone call has been made to the office. If you are
picking your child up at 3:05, please be sure to specify if you will be meeting
your child in the lobby or using the car pick-up option.
